In addition to our regular business and sharing of information about things going on at school, we will get an update on the status of the search for a new principal for Venice HS.
The Friends of Venice Magnet will hold its regular monthly meeting this Thursday, January 15th at 6:30 pm in the student cafeteria. Start the new semester off right by learning about all the changes taking place at Venice HS, and what you can do to improve our school. And if you missed the terrific presentation on college options at our December meeting (or even if you were there), the charts are now posted along with the meeting minutes on our Archive page.
This weekend only, The Gates Foundation is matching all donations to Donor’s Choose. As of this morning, only one Venice HS project is listed, so if you want to make the most of your contribution, act now!!! If someone beat’s you to the punch, don’t worry – we’ll be sending out info soon on other opportunities to support Venice and the Venice Magnets.
